The before picture shows a dated kitchen with little working space. The renovation involved removing a dividing wall, taking out a sunshine ceiling and replacing a walk-in pantry with cabinets containing roll-out shelves. The two islands provide for seperate cooking space and entertaining and casual dining space. Grey tones on cherry create a stunning look. The renovation also included removing the brick fireplace and replacing it with a sleek linear gas fireplace and custom built-in media cabinetry
This remodel shows the dramatic difference you can make to your kitchen without major changes to the room layout. The original kitchen in this Woodbine home had a sunshine ceiling and a poorly configured footprint. By moving appliances to better locations, improving the walkspace, removing the dated ceiling and brightening up the overall look this kitchen is transformed. The custom metal hood by Hammersmith stands out as a glorious feature while Caesarstone quartz counters and brick pattern subway tiles complete the look. Lots of counter space and functional storage make this a dream kitchen to cook and entertain.
The existing kitchen in this beautiful home was not in keeping with the rest of the decor. The home has tremendous character with detailed millwork throughout but a previous owner put in a flat panel, uninspiring kitchen. The space was completely redesigned with a recessed panel shaker incorporating a subtle profile to the inside of the frame. A high ceiling allowed the use of glass door inserts with french style mullions and antique glass to provide stunning feature display space. The introduction of walnut to the island and floating shelves at the media center provide a wonderful contrast and set off the hardwood floor. Cambria quartz counters and stone backsplash finish off an exquisite kitchen.
The original kitchen had poor storage and was crying out for better solutions. The new space has lots of drawers and taller wall uppers. Quartz counter and backsplash finish this crisp, bright space beautifully.
This kitchen makeover was a huge transformation. We only removed one wall but the new space is totally different with a long island, dropped seating area, two tone cabinets, modern shaker styling and stunning quartz countertop.
My clients were under using this space. The kitchen was small and didn't provide room for the entertaining they do often. To fix this I reconfigured the space by removing the walk-in pantry and using all available wall space to provide much more storage and counter space. The island became a huge area for both family meals and entertaining as well a large preparation area. The space was completed with a new fireplace surround and custom built-ins that make the entire room welcoming and purposefull.
This home in Royal Oak had a builder grade kitchen which had served it's purpose but needed updating. The space was modernised both in style and function with the addtion of a cabinet pantry replacing the walk-in pantry and a larger island to provide much improved counter space. The use of white wide frame shaker doors and dark grey island gives a wonderful look which is completed by the new linear gas fireplace and built-ins.
This kitchen is used a lot, for family meals, entertaining and baking. The old pantry was inefficient and made the space feel choppy but the new design looks and feels bigger. The extra workspace makes this a joy to work in and the addition of character items such as a fireclay apron sink and custom wood hood ensure beautiful looks for many years to come.
The original kitchen in this Woodside bungalow was small and boxed in with walls. We removed the walls, moved the kitchen to the exterior walls and created a fabulous open plan setting that breathed new life to this home. The result is jawdropping, the pictures say all that needs to be said about this amazing transformation .
This northwest Calgary condo functioned adequately however there was greater potential just waiting to be unleashed. With subtle reconfiguration the kitchen now benefits from an induction cooktop with seperate double wall ovens providing lots of drawers for ample pot & pan storage. The cabinetry is a warm walnut and features a stunning Hickory table. Counters are Cambia Quartz with a contrasting quartz backsplash.
Rich cherry cabinetry sits so well with the existing oak baseboards and casings in this fabulous kitchen. There is so much detail to this kitchen, from the shaker style posts on the island to the crown moulding running around the perimeter of the room. Ample seating is provided in the large island and beside the panelled refridgerator is a secret doorway to the butlers pantry, hidden behind what looks like a pantry doorway. The renovation also included a basement bar and new fireplace plus complete ensuite bathroom remodel.
A great example of the functional and aesthetic benefits of removing a corner pantry. In addition, cabinets are taken to the ceiling to make full use of the 9 foot ceiling and the island has been reconfigured for practicality and sensible seating. With quartz perimeter counter, stunning granite on the island and eye catching back-splash the Maple Château cabinets look bright yet warm.
Clean simple lines of Shaker style doors with feature toplight cabinets provide glamour in this Springbank community residence. Not only is the kitchen brought up to date but the functionality of the space has been transformed. Look at the vast amount of workspace, there is a home for everything with many deep drawers, a pull out pantry cabinet and hutch unit featuring coffee machine.
This bold look of Walnut turns a builder grade kitchen into a stunning, eye catching beauty. The bold texture and color of the Walnut is anchored by a black island with feature granite counter.
There's no escaping this Riverbend home has had an incredible makeover. The old cabinets were looking tired and it was time to bring this property up to date with clean, Polar White cabinets. The re-model involved taking out a corner pantry to allow the cabinetry to flow around the room and deal with a support beam that needed to be integrated within the design.
The huge island is the center piece of this stunning kitchen and it features a preparation sink, lots of storage, beverage fridge, seating for 3 people and tons of counter work space. The perimeter incorporates professional range & hood with fully integrated fridge and dishwasher. A really neat and unique feature are the cabinet doors concealing the entrance to a deep walk-in pantry.
RENOVATION ~ The kitchen in this Charleswood home lacked counter space and required better storage function. The space was reconfigured to provide for a wall oven and cooktop as well as provide much needed pantry storage. The addition of a peninsular provides room for family members and guests to hang out in the kitchen in a much more social setting. Cabinets are Maple Shaker with a brown stain.
